The Hopeless Toothfairy

My daughter lost her tooth on Tuesday.  She was disappointed to find that when she woke up the Tooth Fairy had not visited her.  So my husband told her she needed to write the Tooth Fairy a note.  Determined to convince the Tooth Fairy to stop at her house, she left sticky notes all over our house that said "Tooth Fairy, Come Tonight!"

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time our Tooth Fairy has been a little ... delayed.  Early in her career at the Muth house, she was a little late in getting to my son's pillow.  When he woke up disappointed, I told him don't worry.  Sometimes she's really busy and comes in the morning.  Thankfully, she was able to sneak in while he was in the bathroom.  When he was older, he informed us that he had his tooth under his pillow for about 3 weeks and that irresponsible Tooth Fairy still hadn't made it.  Maybe he didn't put it under his pillow in quite the right way. Our Tooth Fairy is very particular you know.  We fixed it and vuala, she visited the next night.

If you find that you too have a forgetful or particular Tooth Fairy, try having your children write her a note.  After all, they write Santa a note and leave him cookies and milk too.  Santa only has to visit once a year, but the Tooth Fairy has to visit every time a child looses a tooth.  Shouldn't she at least get a note?
